Graduate in Just 14 Months
Embark on a transformative journey with our Disability Support Worker Program, where you’ll receive comprehensive training over a period of 14 months. This includes 12 months of intensive classroom learning followed by two months of invaluable on-the-job training.
What Does a Disability Support Worker Do?
As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in providing personal care and companionship to individuals living with disabilities, diseases, or old age. Your duties may include meal preparation, feeding, bathing, assisting with personal hygiene, and light housekeeping tasks.
Under the guidance of healthcare professionals, you may also assist with medication administration and specimen collection. Patience and sensitivity to the needs of your clients are paramount in this role.
